Buzzacott, a leading UK accountancy firm, has recently announced the promotions of Alex Judd, Anna-Louise Shipley, and Greg Westcott within its corporate finance team.
Judd has been appointed to partner and heads up the transaction services offering. He has broad sector experience, with specialisms in technology and software, professional services, consumer products and digital media sectors.
He joined Buzzacott in 2014 and works with private equity firms, venture capital funds, and banks, performing due diligence on their target businesses. He also works with high-growth acquisitive businesses and search funds that are undertaking expansion through various acquisition strategies.
Shipley has been promoted to associate director. She has over eight years of experience in corporate finance and typically works with entrepreneurial businesses, assisting with growth and succession strategies. The firm said she believes that strong business is built on good relationships and prioritises this with both her clients and her network.
Westcott has been promoted to manager. Having joined Buzzacott as a graduate, he has made significant contributions to the corporate finance team and works with clients across a range of industries with a focus on technology firms, supporting them through a range of services including valuations, due diligence, and fundraising.
Buzzacott’s corporate finance team specialises in helping entrepreneurial businesses grow, realise value and manage transactions. Over the last four years, the team has advised on over 75 transactions and have worked with notable clients including Foxtons.
