ReSolve, the business advisory, restructuring and investment practice, has announced the sale of Datacenter Dynamics, a B2B events and media company.

DCD is a global B2B events and media company, offering marketing and events services to the data centre industry.

Following a difficult period of trading in 2018, DCD sought investment. ReSolve, seeing “great potential in the business”, specifically the sector in which it operates and the global scale of its events footprint, became the company’s investment partner.

Working together, DCD and ReSolve along with a sector specialist, Collingwood, has created and executed a plan to restructure, streamline and grow the business from a solid base.

Cameron Gunn, senior partner at ReSolve, said: “We are thrilled that ReSolve has helped DCD reach the potential we saw in the business and the hard work has paid off in droves.

“This is a great example of ReSolve identifying a business with solid fundamentals, working hand in hand with management and investing the necessary capital to turn it around. We are committed to the UK’s SMEs and look forward to working with more as they attempt to get back on their feet post-pandemic.”
