Mairi MacIver has joined accountancy firm Chiene and Tait as director for its accounts and business support (ABS) division.

Maclver joins from Anderson Anderson and Brown LLP, where she spent the last 15 years developing “extensive” knowledge and experience in delivering technology-driven client services.

During her career, she has advised businesses from across a range of sectors including rural and landed estates, commercial property, professional services and healthcare.

MacIver will operate from the firm’s Edinburgh headquarters.

She said: “I am delighted to join Chiene and Tait’s accounts and business support team. The potential for growth is clear and I look forward to supporting the team and the wider firm to achieve our ambitions.”

Jeremy Chittleburgh, senior partner and head of C and T’s ABS division, added: “Mairi is a very welcome addition to our team. She is highly regarded with a proven track record in delivering digital solutions for clients, as well as practical guidance to support the growth of their businesses.
