EY has strengthened its Irish firm with the admission of 10 new equity partners, bringing the total number in the Irish partnership to 89.

Six of the 10 new partners have been promoted from within EY, while a further four have been recruited from the market, across various specialisms.

Ferga Kane and Alan O’Brien have been admitted to the partnership within the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice; Carol Murphy and Dermot Keegan within advisory; Patrick O’Driscoll and Danny Buckley within assurance and Deirdre Hogan and Peadar Andrews within tax.

The firm’s growing Irish People Advisory Services (PAS) practice is bolstered by the addition of Michael Rooney and Jackie Gilmore. Shaun Doherty was also admitted to the partnership within the EY EMEIA People Advisory Services team in 2018.

Frank O’Keeffe, managing partner, EY Ireland, said: “Congratulations to all our new EY Ireland partners on reaching this special milestone. Individually they have already achieved a huge amount in their careers, and I wish them every success as they continue to grow within our partner team here at EY.

“All of our new partners will play a pivotal role in helping our clients navigate their toughest strategic challenges and embrace their most exciting opportunities. Importantly, they are all role models who inspire and lead our people as we continue to deliver our purpose at EY of Building a Better Working World.”
