The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has opened an investigation into the audit of ISG Limited’s consolidated financial statements for the year ending 31 December 2022, conducted by MacIntyre Hudson LLP.

The decision to initiate the investigation was made by the FRC’s Conduct Committee during a meeting on 21 January 2025.

The inquiry will be carried out by the FRC’s Enforcement Division under the audit enforcement procedure.

According to the FRC, the investigation is focused solely on the relevant statutory auditor and/or audit firm involved. The regulator emphasised that the inquiry does not extend to any other individuals or entities.

Further updates on the investigation will be provided as it progresses.

MacIntyre Hudson has been contacted for comment.
