MHA has strengthened its restructuring and recovery offering across its London, Kent and Gatwick offices with the appointment of Andrew Duncan who has joined the team as a director.

With more than 35 years professional experience for a number of high-profile firms, Duncan joins MHA with a wealth of knowledge and experience.

In his new role, Duncan will look after a broad portfolio of clients within the construction, recruitment, professional practices, transport and logistics, motor industry, retail, hospitality, technology, manufacturing and engineering sectors.

Within his role, Duncan will undertake business review and advisory work for clients, which will include solvent and insolvent restructuring assignments.

As a licenced insolvency practitioner he will also undertake the full range of insolvency appointments including bankruptcies, liquidations (solvent and insolvent) and administrations.

Steven Illes, restructuring and recovery partner at MHA, said: “Andrew’s appointment is fantastic news for our firm, our restructuring and recovery team but more importantly for our clients.

“With the depth of expertise he brings from his decades of experience, I look forward to seeing him lead with ambition as he helps take our offering to the next level.”

Duncan added: “Having been a part of the restructuring and recovery community for many years, MHA’s reputation has grown significantly, and their vision and direction very much mirrors my own

“I have known a number of the partners for a good while and have been very impressed with the work they do and the clients with which they work with. “When the opportunity came to join as director across the London, Kent and Gatwick offices, it felt a very natural move for me, and I am excited for what the future may now bring.”
