Abacus Worldwide has announced that Ana Carolina Born has taken on a co-chair role of the audit Special Interest Group (SIG) of the progressive international association of independent accounting, consulting and legal firms.
The SIGs meet quarterly online and in person to give members a chance to discuss more technical topics. The four groups cover audit, tax, mergers and acquisitions, and legal topics.
Between meetings, the groups continue knowledge sharing and discussions via Abacus Connect, the association’s online member portal.
Born, who comes from Brazilian member firm Born Auditores Associados, joins Yeong Seng Lim of member firm KLP LLP Chartered Accountants of Singapore in leading the group, which includes members from around the globe.
