Accountancy and advisory firm Frazier and Deeter UK (FD UK) has relocated to Cambridge’s St John’s Innovation Centre.
This move signals the firm’s ongoing commitment to supporting the region’s “thriving business ecosystem of growth-stage technology and life sciences companies”.
The relocation builds on FD UK’s established presence in Cambridge, following the acquisition of Cambridge-based Confluence Tax in 2021.
The firm stated that it remains dedicated to serving the biotechnology and life sciences industries, providing tailored support to companies navigating the challenges of scaling, particularly as they pursue transatlantic opportunities in the US market.
Cambridge is renowned for its universities, “cutting-edge” research and business culture, making it a “global leader” in technology and life sciences innovation. According to FD UK, its expertise in these sectors, combined with its vast US market knowledge, ensures that “clients have the guidance they need to scale internationally”.
The new location in St John’s Innovation Centre positions FD UK at the heart of Cambridge’s innovation district, enabling closer collaboration with technology and life sciences businesses and reinforcing the firm’s role as a trusted partner.
Malcolm Joy, UK managing partner, said: “Our move to St John’s Innovation Centre marks an exciting step in our commitment to Cambridge’s vibrant business community.
“We’ve been incredibly fortunate to work with some of the UK’s most promising companies, and this expansion allows us to deepen our support and help them achieve their ambitious growth goals.”
Pete Hine, lead UK audit partner, added: “Our investment in Cambridge reflects our deep commitment to providing hands-on support where our clients need us most.
“The city’s unique blend of academic excellence and entrepreneurial spirit creates an extraordinary environment for innovation, and we’re excited to enhance our presence in the region.”
