ICAEW has revealed that Rob Tindle has been elected as vice president for the year June 2025 to June 2026.
Tindle has been a member of the ICAEW Council since 2017, representing the Northern constituency. He is a partner at Tindles LLP, a firm he established in 2000, which specialises in providing a full range of business advisory and compliance services to entrepreneurial clients.
The ICAEW added that Tindle is actively involved in his community, and is chair of the board of governors at a local school. Additionally, he plays a role in mentoring and developing young talent within the profession.
Tindle became a member of ICAEW in 1988. His firm, Tindles LLP, is committed to ACA training for its staff.
Malcolm Bacchus is the current president of ICAEW, while Derek Blair is deputy president and Caroline Smale is vice president. The next presidential handover will take place in June 2025.
Tindle said: “I am honoured to be elected as the vice president of ICAEW and look forward to taking up the role next year. ICAEW’s Royal Charter commitment to work in the public interest is a huge responsibility, and maintaining and enhancing trust in the profession is my key priority.
“As we look to the future, it’s important that we embrace sustainability, engage with ICAEW’s wide membership and ensure diverse access to the profession.”
