UHY Hacker Young Manchester has boosted its team by over 50% to more than 160 members to achieve 200% organic growth.

This comes just two years into the firm’s five-year growth plan, in which it plans to double in size by 2027 by creating career pathways and providing internal promotion opportunities to recognise their talent.

UHY’s Manchester office has recently celebrated the internal promotions of 19 team members, resulting in new directors, senior managers, managers, assistant managers, audit executives, audit seniors, and an audit level 2 assistant.

So far in 2024, UHY Manchester has onboarded 25 new team members joining across all departments.

According to the firm, this trend is set to continue as the firm looks to expand their office facilities to increase team capacity further and achieve their growth target by 2027.

David Kendrick, CEO of UHY Hacker Young Manchester, said: “We have worked extremely hard to create a strong team culture within the business to allow people to flourish and grow as the firm expands.

“Seeing the number of promotions and new team members joining in recent months makes it all worthwhile and I have no doubt we can continue this success to deliver the 2027 objective.”
