Hazlewoods has announced the appointment of Nick Cusack as the firm’s third licensed insolvency practitioner to join the business recovery and insolvency team.

In his new role, Cusack will support the firm’s growth and reinforce the focus on delivering an “exceptional” service. The move will ensure clients continue to benefit from the expertise of the growing team, with Cusack being a key player to the success of the firm and client relationships moving forward.

Cusack qualified as an insolvency practitioner in 2014 and is a fellow of both the Insolvency Practitioners Association and the Association of Business Recovery Professionals, also known as R3.

He joins the firm with over 18 years of experience in advising on distressed situations and assisting with the return of maximum value for directors, owners and creditors alike.

Pete Frost, business recovery and insolvency partner at Hazlewoods, said: “Nick will be a great asset to our team and will support our efforts in continuously delivering the best possible service to all stakeholders.”

Cusack added: “I am looking forward to providing advice and assistance to businesses and individuals across the region, and meeting contacts and colleagues old and new in the coming weeks and months.”
