Begbies Traynor, the UK’s leading corporate restructuring and insolvency firm, has promoted Keeley Lord to the position of director at its office in Preston.
Lord joined Begbies Traynor in 2009, qualified as a chartered certified accountant in 2014 and became a licensed insolvency practitioner in July 2023.
In her new role as director, she will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategy of the firm across Lancashire, supporting its growth initiatives in the region, and providing expert guidance for business owners as well as other professional advisers.
Regarding her promotion, Lord said: “I’m excited to embark on this new chapter in my career as a director at Begbies Traynor. I’m looking forward to continuing and expanding the good work we are doing as a team in terms of developing and growing our relationships with business owners and the wider professional services community in Lancashire.”
Chris Lawton, partner at the Preston office of Begbies Traynor, added: “This promotion is well-deserved and we are thrilled that Keeley will continue to provide practical and technical guidance for company directors in terms of restructuring and insolvency in these challenging economic times for businesses.
“The addition of Keeley as an appointment taking director significantly bolsters the Begbies Traynor offering in Preston and the wider Lancashire region.”
