KPP Chartered Accountants in Glasgow has agreed on a new sponsorship deal with St Mirren Football Club.

The agreement sees KPP come on board as St Mirren’s new home and away shorts sponsor for seasons 2023/24 and 2024/25.

Within the wide range of businesses managed at KPP, they have installed a sports division, helping sports professionals manage their taxes in the “most efficient” manner possible.

KPP also shares close family ties with St Mirren going back over three decades.

Stephen Usher, KPP managing director, said: “KPP are delighted to commit to a two-year sponsorship agreement with such a unique club as St Mirren, one that brings together the local community and has such strong inclusivity and equality values. At KPP we share those values and are very much looking forward to helping each other grow through this partnership.”

KPP director Euan Wong added: “This partnership is extremely special to myself as well as KPP. My grandpa James Purves, and dad David Wong have been director and club doctor at St Mirren respectively. I was born into the St Mirren family and I am delighted that KPP is now part of this family.”

Campbell Kennedy, St Mirren Commercial Manager, concluded: “We are thrilled to welcome KPP to our expanding group of partners and sponsors. There is a real family connection with this sponsorship agreement and we are excited to work with KPP over the next two years.”
