Walker Crips appoints business development associate

Walker Crips Investment Management has announced the appointment of Joe Simpson as a business development associate. 

Simpson has spent over a decade as a professional rugby player, during which time he represented England at the highest level. He has been in senior leadership positions within teams such as Wasps, Gloucester, Saracens, Bath and Sale Sharks. 

Throughout his rugby career, he has liaised with CEOs, club owners, sponsors and the media to build relationships, represent his teams and navigate challenges both on and off the field. 

In addition, Simpson has achieved international honours as a member of the England Sevens and the England A team. 

He also represented England Rugby in the 2011 World Cup held in New Zealand, further showcasing his exceptional talent on a global stage. 

Away from sport, Simpson has studied management at the London School of Economics and has also obtained a diploma in management from the Open University. 

Additionally, Joe has run his own business, specialising in property renovation, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit.
