Founded in 1905, Mercer and Hole has offered its clients accountancy and financial services for over a century. Considered one of the country’s top firms in financial planning and private client work, Mercer and Hole currently has offices in London, St Albans, Rickmansworth and Milton Keynes.
Over 200 employees work in the 24 partner firm, which provides financial services and advice to clients in various industries, including the healthcare, charity, farming, manufacturing, retail, technology and transport sectors.

Over the last decade, for the financial years ended 30 September, Mercer and Hole decided not to disclose a copy of its profit and loss account as part of an audit, so any definitive financial results are unavailable.
In May 2021, the accountancy firm appointed Charmain Alway to director, continuing to build upon its strong private client practice. Joining Mercer and Hole in 2008, Alway specialises in work related to estate planning, probate, inheritance tax and trusts. He is viewed as having a strong track record in advising clients on high value probate and estate work.
