Chartwell, an engineering-led operations consulting firm with offices across the UK, Europe, and the US, specializes in performance improvement in energy-intensive sectors. BDO will integrate its financial and carbon reduction expertise with Chartwell’s engineering insights. With over 20 years of experience in ESG management, Szoke has a background in sustainability consulting and ESG due diligence at a Big Four firm. He also managed health, safety, and environmental operations on clean energy projects in Africa. BDO’s Derek Neil noted the growing demand for ESG due diligence in investment decisions.
