Jo Ahmed, Deloitte’s senior partner in the north west, has been awarded an MBE in the King’s New Year Honours List for services to business and trade. With over 25 years of experience, Ahmed advises on global workforce strategies and leads Deloitte’s regional global mobility practice. She is also a prominent advocate for Greater Manchester’s internationalisation strategy, fostering cross-border business and cultural links. Lamont Pridmore continues to support future business leaders by sponsoring the Economics and Business Prize at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School (QEGS). The 2024 award was presented to Ben Ellis, who overcame a serious injury to achieve a Grade B in A-level Economics. Despite setbacks, Ellis excelled academically and has begun an accountancy apprenticeship with Dodd and Co.
