FRP Corporate Finance has advised Phoenix Optical Technologies, a precision optics manufacturer, on its sale to photonics leader Gooch & Housego (G&H). Phoenix, based in North Wales, produces optical technologies for radar, night vision, and telescopes, serving defence, space, and research markets. This acquisition will enhance G&H’s capabilities in aerospace, defence, and life sciences. FRP Corporate Finance managed the sale, led by Adrian Gare, who highlighted the strategic fit between Phoenix and G&H. Phoenix CEO Tony Palframan shared excitement about joining G&H, noting that FRP’s guidance was invaluable in navigating the sale and achieving a successful outcome.
