Bright Software Group has acquired Inform Direct, a cloud-based company secretarial software widely used by 20,000 accountants and SMEs annually. This acquisition broadens Bright’s portfolio of solutions for accountants, bookkeepers, and payroll providers. Inform Direct CEO Henry Catchpole is optimistic about enhancing customer services through Bright’s support, emphasising customer-focused product innovation. Bright’s CEO, Stephen Murdoch, highlighted the acquisition as part of the firm’s strategy to offer an integrated, cloud-based accounting solution covering the entire accounting lifecycle. This addition strengthens Bright’s position in the UK accounting software market.
Menzies has appointed Greg Huitson-Little as a partner in its Forensic and Valuation Services team.
