Evelyn Partners has appointed Vanessa Lee to its Northern private client tax team. Lee, who has over 27 years of experience from senior roles at BDO and EY, will advise high net worth individuals, families, and trustees on tax planning. Based in Leeds, she will also collaborate with teams in Harrogate, Manchester, and Newcastle on succession planning. Lee’s appointment comes as the firm expands its Northern operations, having recently acquired Haines Watts offices. Lee expressed excitement about joining the firm, which she praised for its entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to supporting private clients through both opportunities and challenges.
Broadstone has appointed Rahul Choudhary as director of regulatory analytics in its Insurance, Regulatory, and Risk division. Choudhary brings over 14 years of expertise in credit risk management, regulatory compliance, and financial modelling, having previously worked at PwC, Standard Chartered Bank, and Athena Credit Management. In his new role, he will help expand Broadstone’s regulatory analytics offerings, particularly in risk and lending. Choudhary looks forward to enhancing relationships with banking clients and supporting the division’s growth. Senior director Richard Pinch praised Choudhary’s deep understanding of IFRS 9 regimes and digital strategy, emphasising his value to the team’s ongoing success.
Blick Rothenberg has appointed John Bull as head of private client, alongside recruiting three new partners: Alex Foster, Travis Lee, and Kelly Greig. Foster specialises in personal tax, domicile, and cross-border issues for private equity clients, while Lee focuses on ultra-high-net-worth individuals, particularly those in China and Hong Kong. Greig advises trustees and family offices on tax structuring, with expertise in UK-US cross-border tax. Bull expressed pride in leading the firm’s respected private client team.
