MHA has expanded its Manchester office, more than doubling its space to 5,500 sq ft due to sustained client growth. The office, located on Mosley Street, now accommodates 66 staff, including 10 partners and five directors. The firm’s corporate finance, tax, and audit teams have been instrumental in driving this growth. MHA operates across 22 UK offices, with a strong presence in the North West. Recent senior hires have strengthened its team. Partner Andrew Feeke highlighted MHA’s merger and its national and international reach as key factors in the firm’s continued success and ability to offer specialised advice.

RSM UK has promoted 24 individuals to director roles across its tax, audit, consulting, and support teams, with 10 based in northern England. The promotions are part of a larger initiative to nurture talent, with hundreds more staff also advancing. RSM has committed to investing in its workforce, with CEO Rob Donaldson emphasising the importance of skilled teams to drive growth. The firm is also proud of its gender parity among the new directors. Additionally, RSM has supported over 1,800 staff in earning professional qualifications, reflecting a 26% increase, further showcasing its dedication to employee development.

Haysmacintyre has promoted Karen Allan to partner in its Financial Services team, where she currently serves as co-head. Allan, who joined the firm as a trainee in 2012, has swiftly progressed through her career, becoming a director in 2020. She was also named in Accountancy Age’s Top 35 under 35 for 2024. Allan’s clients include wealth managers, fintech, and private equity firms. Excited to join the partner team, Allan plans to focus on client service and growth. Managing partner Natasha Frangos praised Allan’s contributions, including her role in establishing the firm’s Cape Town team and driving future growth plans.

Oaklins Evelyn Partners has appointed Mark Brockway as a corporate finance partner in its London office. Brockway joins from Cooper Parry Corporate Finance, where he spent two years as a partner, and previously worked at EY leading mid-market M&A transactions. His expertise lies in the tech-enabled services sector and private equity transactions. His appointment supports Oaklins Evelyn Partners’ recent growth, with the corporate finance team doubling in size over the past three years. Partner Stuart Goodman highlighted Brockway’s wealth of experience, which will further enhance the firm’s ability to deliver strong outcomes for clients.
