BDO LLP has opened applications for 130+ apprentices across its UK offices, continuing its growth in early career programs. The apprenticeship program targets students completing A-level studies, with applications open until March 24, 2024. In September 2024, successful candidates will join BDO. The firm is also recruiting for its graduate trainee program, industrial placement students, summer work experience, and insight programs. The AICPA and CIMA have announced the expansion of their mentoring program to Africa, Europe, and Canada. Initially launched in the UK in 2022 for CIMA members and CGMA exam completers, the program offers mentorship opportunities for learning from experienced professionals. The extension enables mentees to connect with mentors across the UK, Europe, Africa, and Canada, fostering knowledge, networks, skills, and confidence development. Recognizing the importance of workplace mentors, the program aligns with the Adobe Future Workforce Study, where 83% of Gen Z considers having a mentor crucial for their career.
