Evelyn Partners has acquired Creaseys Group Limited, further expanding its professional services business strategy. Creaseys, with over 150 years of experience and a team of 50, specialises in advising private equity executives on their tax affairs. This acquisition complements Evelyn Partners’ organic growth efforts, following previous acquisitions of Leathers LLP and the Ashcroft Partnership LLP. With this addition, Evelyn Partners now has a network of offices in 28 towns and cities across the UK, the Republic of Ireland, and the Channel Islands.
Grant Thornton has appointed Andy Wood and Sophie Murton as partners in its Thames Valley and Southampton offices. Wood, who was previously the head of ethics and managing partner for Grant Thornton in Yorkshire and the North East, will focus on private capital investments.
