The accountancy firm will provide “resources and support specifically designed for the legal sector”

Anderson Anderson and Brown (AAB) has announced a new strategic partnership with The Law Society of Scotland.

AAB provides audit and accounting, tax, payroll and HR, outsourcing and advisory solutions globally from offices in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen, and it will provide “resources and support specifically designed for the legal sector”.

Derek Mitchell, head of AAB’s business services team and Aberdeen managing partner said: “We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Law Society of Scotland over the last few years and are delighted to have taken this next step in becoming their strategic partner.

“We have worked with legal firms for many years and enjoy working with the dynamic businesses in this sector. We work with legal firms, and their clients at every stage and our support covers clients and their businesses at all stages, from start-up to succession planning, as well as providing bespoke advice to individuals and families.”

Paul Mosson, executive director of member services at The Law Society of Scotland, added: “The new strategic partnership builds on the strong relationship we already have with AAB. We’re delighted to have them on board as our new partner and look forward to working together on providing services which will benefit our membership.

“AAB have a deep understanding of Scotland’s legal sector and an excellent track record in supporting law firms which will allow Scottish solicitors to achieve their goals for their business, whether they are a multinational corporate law firm operating across the globe or a high street practice serving communities in towns and cities across the country.”
