Azets, the regional business advisory, tax, and accountancy firm, revealed that it has added 10,000 new clients in the past 12 months as the group celebrates its first anniversary since rebranding.

September 2020 saw Cogital Group combine the Baldwins, Scott Moncrieff, Wilkins Kennedy, and Campbell Dallas under the Azets name.

Together with the organisation’s other UK operation, Blick Rothenberg, the group has since added the 10,000 new clients, as well as creating 500 job openings across all levels.

Chris Horne, CEO at Azets, said: “It’s been a challenging but rewarding year – one none of us will ever forget – and I’m immensely proud of the way we have supported our clients and each other through one of the toughest periods many of us will ever face.

“The decision to keep moving positively forward was one driven by the determination of our people and senior leadership, and a commitment to supporting our clients.”

After reaching the milestone, the group announced plans to increase revenue by 50% over the next five years, with a further 650 jobs to be created in the UK over the next year.

Horne added: “Launching the Azets brand represented the next phase in our development, alongside significant investments in technology, infrastructure, and people.

“What we have achieved in our first 12 months has met and, in areas, exceeded our strategic plan, and we’re on a positive footing to meet our short- and long-term growth targets.”
