FRP to launch Milton Keynes office following partner appointment

New appointee, Marco Piacquadio, joins the firm from Begbies Traynor, where he most recently led the growth of its Milton Keynes team following the launch of that office in 2018

Specialist business advisory firm FRP has announced plans to launch a new office in Milton Keynes following the appointment of restructuring advisory partner, Marco Piacquadio.

In his new role at FRP, Piacquadio will launch the firm’s Milton Keynes office. This establishes an “on-the-ground presence” for FRP in Buckinghamshire for the first time and enables FRP to expand its support to clients across the northern home counties.

With more than 16 years’ experience, Piacquadio supports clients on a broad range of corporate and personal restructuring and insolvency matters. He also has significant expertise in “identifying and implementing effective restructuring solutions for businesses and their stakeholders”.

Piacquadio has led more than 250 corporate appointments across a variety of sectors, including retail, hospitality and leisure.

He also supports clients through Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVA), shareholder dispute issues, business and share disposals, solvent and insolvent liquidations, and contentious insolvency matters.

He joins the firm from Begbies Traynor, where he most recently led the growth of its Milton Keynes team following the launch of that office in 2018.

Piacquadio said: “I’ve always admired FRP, both in terms of their approach to restructuring appointments and the quality and complexity of cases they’re working on. We share many of the same values, particularly when it comes to focusing on a business rescue and outcomes that deliver the strongest return for creditors.

“FRP’s ability to support clients with the best service line to get the strongest result – be that restructuring advisory, debt advisory, forensic services or corporate finance – is also something that really stood out and the prospect of joining the firm to establish its first office in Milton Keynes is an opportunity I couldn’t turn down.

He added: “I am looking forward to hitting the ground running. Over the next few months I will be focused on the expansion of our team so we can continue to provide the highest quality service to clients across the northern home counties and continue to drive forward the growth of the business.”
