Baldwins expands North East client base

Baldwins Group has secured a new contract with IAMCATZ Ltd., which trades as Smart Outdoors, marking its latest client expansion in the North East region.

Its latest client provides out of home advertising solutions in city or shopping centres, for transport and at events, as well as campaign planning and media buying services.

It has seen “rapid growth” following “substantial” contracts with companies including JD Sports and American Golf, as well as expansion overseas.

Following its expansion, the Baldwins team, led by Brian Logan, offered its board a full breakdown of its finances, and helped to support its ongoing funding, tax and financial requirements to meet its new commitments.

Andrew Grundy, Baldwins’ banking and finance specialist, also supported its application for a CBILs loan, in order to secure immediate funding and longer term investment plans for the group.

Mark Catterall, founder of IAMCATZ, said: “Baldwins was able to provide us with the support we needed, in a way that remained very personal and local.

“We’ve been through a period of rapid growth and that meant looking at the business differently to ensure we had the financial foundations in place to meet that change and continue to grow.”

He added: “That meant working with a team that was as much a business advisor to the board as it was a support to our finance function.

“The breadth of services and experience we are able to draw on at Baldwins has given us the comfort and surety we needed to focus on the continued growth and development of the business.”

Brian Logan, consultant at Baldwins Accountancy, added:  “IAMCATZ is a perfect example of a business where the Baldwins service really comes into its own.

“We pride ourselves on providing a local, individual led team, but can draw on a national business that has the ability to provide clients with a comprehensive accounting and business advisory service, that ensures they have the structures in place to deliver on their hopes and ambitions.”
