Mercer & Hole appoints Mark Pashley as senior partner

Accountancy firm Mercer and Hole has announced the appointment of Mark Pashley as senior partner of its corporate and business tax team.

Pashley joined from Grant Thornton, where he held the position of tax director, having previously held senior roles at ‘Big Four’ accountancy firm PwC and BDO.

He has experience in advising businesses on employee incentive schemes, profit extraction options, R&D tax credits, advice on capital allowances, business sales, and on commercial property portfolios. 

Pashley also has experience in understanding and practical application of the UK tax landscape, with an extensive knowledge of tax as it affects fast-growing and successful owner-managed businesses.

Pashley said he is “thrilled” to be joining the firm when the “demand for practical advice matched with technical knowledge has never been greater.”
