AIMS Accountants opens three new offices during Covid-19 lockdown

AIMS Accountants has opened three new UK offices, despite the uncertainty of the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

Peter Duley, FCCA, opened his new AIMS practice in Colchester whilst Jagdeep Chauhan, ACA opened hers in Solihull and Mohammed Walji, AAT in Newport.

The firm said these new office openings were particularly challenging as the usual training schedule was disrupted by Covid-19, but by moving the training to an online platform over a two-week period, the same level of induction was provided.

Despite these challenges, Duley found the course “very informative and well structured, very professional and extremely relevant” and added that he came “out of the two-week course in a far stronger position than when I went in”.

David Vasey, COO of AIMS, said: “We had some initial reservations with how the online training would go in practice, but it exceeded our expectations.

“We already have two more offices due to start their training next week and be open by the end of May, so we can continue our growth plans for 2020 to ensure that we can provide ongoing support to small businesses in this challenging time.”
